With skill, patience and determination, she manually removes lice and nits, precluding the need of shampoos and sprays. As she works, Helen shares her knowledge, offering tips and shortcuts for the care of the home environment.

A single visit yields a success rate of 95% to 100%. While requests for return visits are honored, a second visit is rarely needed.

Fee for service: $100 an hour plus travel
Minimum charge: $200 per visit
Average treatment time: 2 hours per person
